Problem
In April 2026, the new grand-ducal couple in Luxembourg hosted an event with thousands of people on the topic of the history of the south of Luxembourg and current regional development. The region's majors were meant to present their commune as a formal address to the grand-ducal couple. The challenge was the following:
Making 20 second speeches as fun and interactive as possible.
Solution
Together with 101 studios - the lead agency in this project - we came up with a vision for the video and produced a playful collage video that showcases the region overall. Furthermore, the video was used beyond the event to promote the region and its roots.
Workflow
We had a quick timeline and a lot of ground to cover. After agreeing on some key visuals through moodboard we got right to work. The final video features collage-style motion design, hand-drawn animations and clever media cuts. The whole thing was also adjusted for social media.
